Very Scarce High Condition Marlin Model 1888 Lever Action .32-20 (AL5205)

Very scarce high condition Marlin Model 1888 lever action .32-20 caliber rifle. The 24” Octagon barrel, marked “.32-W”, has an excellent bore. This fine rifle has approximately 92% blue overall and visible case colors on the lever. It has a buckhorn and blade front sight. It also has a tang sight. The butt stock and forearm are fine with no cracks or chips. The action functions correctly. Only 4,814 Model 1888 were made in 1888 and 1889. Of these, 1,298 were in .32-20. This is a very scarce rifle that is rarely encountered in the top condition of this one.
