English Percussion Pistol made by Clark. There are several Clark’s (without an E) listed in reference material.  Caliber is 45.  The barrel length is 6 inches and overall length is 10inches. The barrel is a very fine and beautiful Damascus steel. The breech plug has silver bands. The lock  plate is broad leaf floral engraved. The cock has similar engraving but more tightly done due to space. The breech plug tang is engraved  and the triggerguard is engraved in the broad leaf style of the lock plate. The action works with a half cock and full cock. The stock is very good plus with no chips or cracks and has 98% original lacquer. The checkering is perfect. The stock has a “German Silver” nose cap. The stock has a vacant silver oval inlay behind the breech plug tang. The stock to barrel wedge is surrounded by silver escutcheons. Elegant pistol with fine craftsmanship.
