Serial 1461. Made in early 1864. 36 caliber with a 7 ½” barrel. This is the highest serial number known. The metal has been cleaned, but remains reasonably sharp. There is some pitting throughout the gun. Grips are very good. All numbers match. The bottom of the grip has a “WH” cartouche. Action works well. This gun has been in several major collections over the last 60 years. This gun comes with a certificate of authenticity from noted confederate expert John Sexton. Very fine Leech & Rigdon Confederate Revolver!
