French Model 1892 Ordnance Revolver (PR55104)

The 8mm Model 1892 revolver was used by the French Army and Navy through WWII. The 4.5" round with three top flats barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The gun retains approx 95% military blue and 50% straw colors on the hammer, trigger and loading gate. The top of the barrel is marked Mle 1892 and the right side is marked S. 1901. The right side of the rear frame is marked Mre d'Armes over St Etienne. The barrel and frame have assorted inspection marks. The checkered wood grips are excellent with very little wear. The lanyard loop has been neatly removed. The action functions correctly.The action functions correctly. This very nice Model 1892 is ready for any French or European military revolver collection.
