1937 S/42 German Luger Pistol (PR56209)
This is a late 1937 S/42 Mauser produced P.08 9mm Luger pistol. It has the S/42 inscription on the forward toggle link, the 1937 chamber date, and blued trigger, safety, and takedown lever. The bore is excellent with bright, strong rifling. The gun has approx. 99% of its arsenal rework blue finish. The serial numbers, including the grips and alumnium base magazine, are matching. The checkered wood grips are excellent with no chips or cracks. Interestingly, the left grip screw also features a lanyard ring. The action functions correctly. Nicel matching examples of this uncommon 1937 Mauser varation are hard to come by.
