Blunt & Syms Single Shot Side Hammer Percussion Pistol (AH8158)

Unusual example that does not conform to any of the models shown in Flaydermans. 45 caliber with a 5 ½” barrel. Mostly a gray patina on the metal surfaces. The forearm on this gun goes full length where as the ones in flaydemmans only have the forearm running half length. The grip is very good and also differs from the examples listed in Flaydermans. Barrel has standard Blunt and syms markings. This gun is clearly just another variation of the same model of Blunt and Syms.
