Spencer Sporting Rifle 50 Caliber (AL7513)
Serial number 35347. Made circa 1860s. 50 caliber with a 26” barrel. This is a Spencer made into a sporting rifle by Herman Schlegelmilch of Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Metal has an even brown patina. Wood is very good. The right hand side of the stock has traces of a star painted on the stock. This gun is in a 7sporting rifle configuration.
