Merwin & Bray Ballard Sporting Rifle .45-70 (AL9792) Consignment

Made circa 1860s, .45-70 with a 26" octagonal barrel. Bore is very good. Sporting rifle conversion of a Civil War carbine with heavy barrel, ramrod and tang sight. The metal has a brown patina, the wood is very good with expected wear. A good looking "buffalo rifle". Consignment.
