Winchester 1873 Saddle Ring Carbine (AW987)
Serial number 81317. Made in 1881. 44-40 caliber with a 20” barrel. Very Fine 2nd Model Carbine with 70% of the original blue. Wood is excellent. This gun is in 44-40 caliber but does not have a caliber marking because at the time of production, they were only making guns in 44-40. Very fine example of a 2nd Model carbine!
