Scarce Sharps 1874 A Frame .45-70 caliber rifle. Scarce variation rifle. These guns were made out of assembled left over percussion and cartridge parts. This gun has a Business rifle barrel, the frame is a percussion frame. These guns were numbered in the 200,000 range. Barrel is 28” long and is in .45-70 caliber. Bore is very good. The frame has a letter “A” stamped on the left hand side of the receiver that stands for assembled. Most of these guns were shipped to Carlos Gove of JP Lower Company of Denver, Colorado, either way they were western shipped.
