Sharps 1874 Creedmore .44 2 ⅝ caliber rifle. Very fine sporting rifle with 90% original blue. Action has turned to a dark gray patina. Stem of the tang sight, and front sight are replacements. Wood is very good. This is an early gun with the “Hartford Collar” or pewter forend cap. Bore is excellent. Gun comes with a letter stating it was shipped to Sharps dealer J. P. Moore. It letters as sold with a 32” barrel in .44 caliber. A very fine and rare gun!
