German model 1871, early 1890s conversion to 6.5X53 Daudeteau. Done for Uruguay at the French Arsenal St. Denis. The bore is dark with strong rifling. Matching bolt. The wood has a coat of oil. The metal has been refinished. Very good overall condition.
