Factory Engraved Gold Inlaid Winchester 1894 Takedown Deluxe (W7687)

Factory Engraved Gold Inlaid Winchester 1894 Takedown Deluxe Made in 1906. Beautiful gun! Factory engraved with gold inlays and checkered deluxe stock. Barrel has 95% of the original blue. Frame has 75% of the original blue with the remainder a nice bluish brown patina. 32 WS caliber with excellent bore. Wood is carved and checkered in the F pattern. Nice figure remains in the forearm and buttstock. The left hand side of the receiver has a panel scene of a hunter and two bucks in a forest clearing that is surrounded by scrolls. The right hand side has a panel scene of a bear that is surrounded by scrolls. The bottom of the gun on the lever link has a monogram in gold with the letters “FWC”. There are gold bands on each side of the rear part of the receiver where the wood meets, and gold bands on the barrel and forearm cap. Gold is an extremely rare feature only reserved for the most deluxe guns. The scope and mounts have been added during the period of use. The scope is unmarked, but we believe it to be a Lyman. The gun is all original except for the scope and mounts. Gun comes with a factory record sheet and a copy out of the book that confirms all features except the scope and mounts.
