Colt 1902 .38 Auto (C10124)

Colt 1902 .38 Auto caliber pistol. Manufactured approximately 1914. This is a very interesting 1902 model. This pistol was an old refinish and about 20% of that shows old wear and patina. Action works perfectly. The grips are silver with a gold Seal of Mexico in relief. The Mexican Revolution was in full swing in 1914; people in El Paso, Texas could watch the fighting from their rooftops. Fifty years ago you could find guns like this in Mexican antique shops and market places. Pancho Villa’s marching song was the famous “La Cucaracha.” If this pistol could sing, it would sing La Cucaracha!
