Large Underhammer .58 Caliber Percussion Pistol. Gun is unmarked. Barrel is 8 ½” long, overall length is approximately 14 ½” long. Unusual construction and oversized from what is normally encountered. Barrel is out of a U.S. Martial handgun as there is a place for a sight and a dovetail on the sides of the gun. Proof marks are still present on the barrel. Interesting piece.
