Colt Frontier Six Shooter Etched Panel .44-40 (C12741)

Colt Frontier Six Shooter Etched Panel .44-40 Caliber Revolver. Made in 1882. 7 ½” barrel in .44-40. Gun is in very fine condition with 75% of the original finish. Barrel has a beautiful acid etched panel that says, “Colt Frontier Six Shooter” signifying it is a .44-40. The one piece wood grips are excellent with a lot of the original varnish. Action works perfectly and locks up tight. Gun is all matching. This gun comes with a Factory letter confirming all features including the nickel finish and it was shipped to Hartley and Graham in New York with 50 guns in shipment. Very nice original black powder single action!
