Kentucky style half stock rifle. P Weiser Delaware, Ohio. 36" barrel, approximately .38 caliber. Wood is maple with stripes. Has set trigger. Trigger guard butt plate and inlaid star are brass. Ram rod is original. Sights are 19th century replacements. Common for the rifles. Association of Ohio Long Rifle Collectors list Philip Weiser as a gun smith who worked in Delaware, Ohio.
