Winchester 1873 .44-40 (W5549 )

Winchester 1873 .44-40 caliber rifle. Manufactured approximately 1903. Musket with 30" barrel. Barrel has 98-99% original Blue. Receiver has 45-50% Blue with the rest flaked. Stocks are very good plus with some bruises. These 1873s were found in South America (Argentina) back in the 1970s and about 500-700 were imported. They were unfired but poorly stored and most show deep pits. This Musket has no pits except on the dust cover. Very fine 1873!
