Whitney-Scharf .32-20 caliber lever action carbine manufactured 1886-1888. Less than 2000 made. Bore is good plus to very good with strong rifling and corrosion in the grooves. Stock has been sanded and has a nice attractive appearance. Metal is smooth and barrel and tang markings are perfect. Metal is a smooth light gray color with no pits or dings. Scarce carbine!
