Kentucky Style Half Stock Percussion Rifle. Caliber is approximately 45. Barrel length 36 1/2" and overall length is 51". Barrel is unmarked. Lock is marked A. Waters, Milbury Mass. 1838. (This is probably a lock from an 1836 U.S. Flintlock pistol). The rifle has set triggers. The rifle has an attractive form. Interesting rifle with the Waters lock!
