Whitney Beal’s “Walking Beam” Revolver. .31 Caliber. Serial number 449. Barrel length 4”. This is a 7-shot revolver. Top strap marked “E. Whitney, Whitneyville CT.” and on frame marked “Beal’s Patent Sept. 1854. The ring trigger advances the cylinder rotation and hammer must be manually cocked. Grips are good plus. No chips or cracks, just handling marks. Revolver has an even patina.

Confederate Griswold & Gunnison (AH5428)

Confederate Griswold & Gunnison Revolver. All matching gun and all original. Back strap has been repaired where it meets the frame. Condition is the typically well used that you see with Confederate guns. Metal has been cleaned and has light gray patina with pitting throughout. Action works well and locks up tight. These guns were the greatest number produced out of the Confederate handguns made.
