We cannot be sure because this frame has been refinished and numbers could have been lost in the process. The receiver appears to be a later gun. The barrel has original smooth brown patina. Bore is excellent.

Stock is very fine with sharp cartouche dated 1892. There is a marking in the stock in old red paint which appears to be a rack number with a number 206. This is a 1888 model with the ramrod bayonet.
