NSN. Blade made late 18th Century and Guns added in 1840s-1850s. Very rare combo weapon. Most of the one you see are 20th century fabrications. This one is original. The Katar is 17” in total length. Each gun is 44 caliber.
Serial number 16. Made circa 1852-1858. 31 caliber with a 2” barrel. This gun has a light gray patina with spots of pitting. Frame still shows Most of the engraving.
Made circa 1840s -1850s. 36 caliber with a 6 ½” barrel. This gun has a dark brown patina. The grip has aa pointed butt profile edged in brass. There is one small crack that extends to both sides of the grip. The action works perfectly. These guns were made primarily in Vermont, but also the rest of the New England area. This gun is unmarked.
Made circa 1840. 50 caliber with a 10 ½” barrels. This is a very interesting set of Pistols. The barrels are marked and made by Johan Christoph Kuchenreiter (1755 -1818) who was one of the most famous and highly regarded Bavarian Gunsmiths. These barrels are top quality with a silver inlays and the signature horse and rider maker sink finished in a Damascus patterned brown....
1850's vintage large bore (.70) over./under percussion pistol with 7.75" barrels. The barrels are browned and show a damascus pattern. The locks are engraved and have a gray patina. The stock is very good. A good looking piece.
Serial number 1902 & 1903. Made in1829-1830. 45 caliber with 9 ½” barrels. This pair is in excellent condition as English refinished with 95% of the brown on the barrels. Made circa 1770. 50 Caliber with a 3 ½” barrel. This is a unique left handed pocket pistol that was originally mad in Flintlock and now has been converted to percussion. The barrel is beautifully engraved and inlaid in Gold. The Wood has been nicely carved around the barrel tang. The lock is marked “DUVAL A NANTES” Action works perfectly.
Made circa 1850s.50 caliber with a 9 ½” barrel. Both guns are in excellent condition with 95% of the original blue finish on the barrel. The locks trigger guards and butt caps are beautifully engraved and finished in French gray. The top of the barrel is maker marked “Kirner es Fia Pesten” This gun comes with all of the accessories in a beautiful burl wood case.
Made late 1850s to early 1860s. 10mm barrel with an 8 ½” barrel. This gun is in excellent condition with 98% of the original blue The stock is nicely carved ebony in excellent condition. The frame is engraved and finished in French gray. This gun is cased with very fine accessories that match the gun in construction and engraving.
Serial No. 5, circa 1850's, .34 caliber, 4" octagonal to round barrel. Metal is a grey patina with mottled oxidation visible. Standard floral and scroll engraving present. Grips are good with expected handling wear. Action functions correctly. Approximately 500 were manufactured. Consignment.
