There is a different rear sight, it has a bayonet stud on the nose cap, the butt plate is more curved and the butt stock has a dowel in the wrist. About 80% finish. Good wood. The bore has strong rifling and shows some light pitting, Good to very good over all condition.

This was done at the French St. Denis Arsenal in about 1892 for Uruguay. It has non matching serial numbers. This happened at the time of conversion. Excellent bore and wood. Has original rod. Very, very seldom seen and in very good overall condition.
